  • About KAEP

The Kentucky Association of Equine Practitioners (KAEP) was established January 13, 1979. It was organized as a constituent of the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association (KVMA) in an effort to organize Kentucky equine practitioners for the purpose of cultivating fraternal feelings, providing continuing education, to increase the mutual improvement of its members and for providing a unified voice in upholding the municipal State and Federal laws and protecting the rights and privileges of practitioners of Veterinary Medicine in the pursuit of responsible veterinary practice for the health of the horse and benefit of the equine industry.
    MISSION STATEMENT
"The mission of the KAEP is to ensure the professional development of its members by promoting fellowship, providing educational opportunities, and informing members of political, social, and emerging disease issues that affect the veterinary community and enable it to provide quality care for the horse."
