Information received yesterday afternoon (9/20/2021) along with results of diagnostic testing completed at Murray State University’s Breathitt Veterinary Center confirms a diagnosis of West Nile virus affecting a 2nd Kentucky horse during this calendar year.  The diagnosis is based on compatible clinical symptoms along with detection of WNv specific IgM antibodies.
